Crackalackin' Cupcakes

What could be better than a sweet ooey gooey cupcake? How about a SPICY HOT ooey gooey chocolately Mexican Vanilla Cupcake. Although it was not the Mexicans who originally combined chocolate and spices (it was the Spanish who actually aquired it from the Aztecs who actually got it from the Mayans -whew), they have brought it to a new level. Used in rituals where the chocolate was combined with nuts, seed and spices, this drink was used by priests and noblemen. The Mexicans started using the concotion to bake cakes. Just think, if you actually ate a Mexican Vanilla cupcake, you would be perpetuating the traditions of the ancient Spanish, Aztec and Mayan Noblemen. Are you feeling noble?

To make: Prepare Butter Cake Batter and add Chipotle Emulsion, Chocolate Chips, a dash of cinnamon and bake until done. Top with Vanilla or Chocolate Buttercream and decorate with cinnamon. OR, You can come to Crumbles Cupcakes in Downtown Grapevine and let us make it for you. Cheers until next time.
